After graduating from London College of Printing, Jeon Seung Hwan was mentored by the internationally renowned beauty-fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø.  Jeon is now an international photographer in his own right: he regularly shoots for global publications such as W, Vogue, Elle, Wallpaper, Harper’s Bazaar, and Numero, and he collaborates with advertising clients across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Jeon’s work spans industries as well as continents.  His uniquely contemporary lens captures fresh, invigorating beauty in faces and objects alike.  For this reason, he is equally comfortable shooting for Sephora, Nivea, and the Body Shop as he is for Samsung and Chevrolet.  He has collaborated extensively with companies such as Shinsegae, a global fashion retailer with over 260 stores in South Korea, where he has photographed over 30 premium brands, including Alexander Wang, Moncler, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, and Belstaff.  The current creative director at Sephora recently credited Jeon as pivotal in the transformation of the brand’s visual marketing, calling the collaboration “hugely successful” as a result of Jeon’s “trendy, relevant [and] sensational imageries.”

Jeon currently splits his time between New York and London.
